It's been a shocking year for Brazil. Not only is their economy struggling, but they were twonked 7-1 on their own turf by Germany in the World Cup.

Thankfully the samba nation finally has something to look forward to: Miss Bum Bum 2014.

27 of the most ridiculous rear ends across Brazil have been selected and are now competing for a $22,000 prize (£13,000), together with the world wide acclaim that comes with possessing Brazil's perfect posterior.

Somehow, the judges need to whittle this battle of the butts down from 27 girls down to 15 before the competitions next stage - and what better way to do that than giving you the power to vote for your favourite!

Advertisement With Breasts Caused 500 Accident in One Day

Who thought putting boobs on the side of a truck was a good idea? 

30 ads were placed on the side of trucks, all of them the exact same: a woman cupping her breasts with her nipples covered by a thin blue strip. The words across the blue strip read: They Attract.

If your advertising plan is just to throw some boobs on a sign you should expect some backlash. Like this Tom Ford Ad got:

The advertising agency said, “We are planning to bring a new advertising format onto the market, encouraging companies to place their ads on the side of trucks, as we thought this would be a good alternative to putting them on the sides of public transport.”

Their campaign worked, as people all around the globe are talking about their billboard…and what a terrible idea it is.

Police began getting complaints early on the day the campaign launched, from angry drivers who claimed a truck with boobs on the side drove by them, distracted them, and cause them to get into an accident. Patrols were sent out soon after to ban the vehicles from the road, but it was too late. 517 boob related traffic accidents had been reported to authorities in one day.

One driver recalled his experience by saying: “I was on my way to a business meeting when I saw this truck with a huge photo of breasts on its side go by…Then I was hit by the car behind who said he had been distracted by the truck.”

The company has stated that all car owners will receive compensation costs that aren’t covered by their insurance.
